Firstly, Living in a blended family of 7 that include 4 boys between the ages of 11 and 16 years old while owning 2 small businesses, my mom rarely gets times for herself. Therefore, My mom is a remarkably busy person. There are a few items that make her life a lot easier as a woman. As a results, these favorite items give her more time to bring me for my daily walk so “yeah” to these great time savers. So, here is how you can make a mom incredibly happy this Holiday.
5 Gifts Ideas for a Busy mom:
Instant Pot – 90$ CAN and up:
Firstly, Do not get me wrong, my Dad cooks as much as my mom. However, she loves her instant pot. She bought it last year to replace the Slow Cooker when my Dad broke the ceramic insert. Secondly, my mom had no idea back then that she would use it 3 and sometime 4 times a week.
She can cook a full-sized frozen roast in 40 mins. Therefore, it saves a lot of time and energy. Thirdly and most important, once a week she cooks frozen chicken breast for 18 min and slow releases it for 15 min (When you buy this instant pot you will get to know what slow release means). Then, cuts it in to pieces (If I’m good, I do get some too) and puts it in the fridge for a fast Nacho supper and sandwiches for the boys school lunches. You will see, when your busy mom get use to it, she will cook pretty much anything in it.

Moreover, there is a Facebook group called INSTANT POT RECEIPES ONLY with more then 1 million members for unimageable recipes and tricks. Perfect for a busy mom. There is also a lot of You Tube videos to show how to use it. However, my mom did burn a few things at first, but it didn’t take much time to get use to it.
You can find it online or in-store pretty much anywhere such as the instant pot website itself or Walmart, Costco, Target and of course Amazon. They sell from 90$ CAN and up and, you do not need to go to fancy. Your busy mom will mostly only use the pressure cook, rice, and Sauté function. These function will probably make her incredibly happy as soon as she gets the hang of it.

Alright, this Amika Hairbrush is new and is practically sold out at almost all Hair salons. It is a 2 in 1 tool, a round hair rush and a hairdryer. Its quick and gives smooth, shinny and bouncy hair for ANY hair type (straight, wavy, curly, thin, thick, etc.). It will replace her straightener and blow dryer for EVER! Your busy mom will love it!
Chances are, her favorite stylist probably sells it at her salon, or you can also find them online on Sephora or Amazon websites.

Being a busy mom, mine mostly drinks her coffee on her way to bring the kids to school. Therefore, she prefers to have her morning coffee in a ceramic mug instead of a stainless or thermos. Apparently, it tastes better, and she likes it hot enough but not so hot that she cannot enjoy it. She loves the Cypress Brand. They are made of good quality ceramic and will not shatter as easily. My Dad got this special one just for her not too long ago. He is also the one making her coffee almost every morning. She appreciates him for that.

Most women carry a lip Balm in their purse, especially during winter. My mom loves to support local and likes that they are made with all natural ingredients.
